Dr. Tiffany Pleasent’s mission is deeply rooted in her personal journey of transforming pain into purpose.
As a child, Dr. Pleasent endured significant challenges that shaped her resilience and drive to help others. She went on to pursue a career in emergency medicine and EMS, becoming a leader in the field and a passionate advocate for improving survival rates in out-of-hospital cardiac arrests.
Today, as the Associate Medical Director of Boston EMS, she oversees emergency care in one of the country’s most historic cities. Her focus is on empowering bystanders to take immediate action in cardiac emergencies, especially in sports, where sudden cardiac arrests are becoming more prevalent.
Through her platform, Dr. Pleasent aims to spread awareness of the Chain of Survival, emphasizing that bystander CPR is often the first and most crucial step to saving a life.
